PACE Club

PACE Club (Patriotic Americans for Constitutional Education)

To the future leaders of our country, we are offering a "PATRIOTIC CHALLENGE" to students that sign up to join the free after school club (approx. 1 hour per week for approximately 12 weeks). This program is based on the "28 Principles" & the book "The 5000 Year Leap."

This free club is designed for those Middle School students who want to become knowledgeable on how our Founding Fathers created what is now the oldest (and best) Constitution in the World. The club will touch on the test questions needed to know to pass in High School-way ahead of other students by learning the basic Citizenship information NOW! Students will LEARN to nominate and vote in their own President, Vice President, etc. just as we vote in a President for the USA. Students will take responsibility for running the club. There will be notable guest speakers on various stimulating topics relative to Patriotism and our form of government. Students will be part of the Thunderbolt Constitution Club and take part in patriotic events and also plan and implement a Community Patriotic Project. Mrs. Cipres will oversee the club activities.

Plans are being developed to provide a Jeopardy format competition at the end of the course. The winner will receive a NEW LAPTOP COMPUTER and trophy that says they are the Most Patriotic Student from Thunderbolt Middle School. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Cipres.

The PACE club will begin meeting the second semester of school and meet every Friday thereafter for 12 weeks.

Permission slips are available in the front office.
