Thunderbolt is proud to offer a chess club to both 7th and 8th grade students.

If you enjoy strategy, competition and associating with other like-minded students, chess club may be for you. The club meets weekly after school for about 30 minutes of fast play. We take students of the game at all levels, from beginners to experienced. Take time to learn the game or if you feel ready, enter a tournament to get some experience against other students.
